i feel like rory in season 5 episode 18  - minus the founders day punch

so yeah ... anyways... spring break is here and i'm visiting my grandma in FL.. its been ok so far.. the weather is lovely, the beach is beautiful, the pool is freezing, shopping would be better if i had more money... but yeah, most of the time i'm just sitting around bored with nothing to do

i've gotten a decent amount of work done on long term projects for school so that is good.. i am not going to repeat the last 2 weeks of last semester this year..*shakes her head*

i guess thats about it.. gonna go try to brave the pool water again.. wish me luck..lol

so, i was bored and decided to take some of those dumb quiz thingies.. this one made me laugh - specifically the part saying how i'll die

so... it looks like the cake lady isnt going to be working out, so that means I get to decorate cakes! .. and decca is still going to be doing most of the custom cakes, so i get to just focus on the fun, quick cake display cakes.. and tom said basically any free time i have that i want to come in and work on cakes to keep the display full i can - so yay for more hours!

the only problem is i'm not use to working this much.. like i was working about 30 to 40 hrs a week by the end of the summer.. i'm soo tired
and its a different sort of tired than a few weeks ago right before finals -- like that was a mental exhaustion, and now i'm just physically tired.. why can't i just enjoy being a bum and doing nothing??..lol.. well, i can enjoy that.. just not for very long - especially when everyone else is still busy doing stuff

today we were soo much more busy than earlier in the week - i think a lot of it had to do with the fact that it was fairly warm out .. it was such a joke fro them to cancel schools .. the fact that schools were cancelled also probably played a role in the increase in sales

anyways.. i really ought to head to bed since i'm opening again tomorrow

well today was pretty good.. it snowed so allison's class was cancelled and i didnt have to go volunteer doing whatever it was

so i took a nap this morning while watching some old movie.. i love old movies, even dumb ones like the one that was on this morning.. i really which TCM came in clearer at school istead of all fuzzy

allison had to take chippy to the vet today cause he is losing his fur.  When we got to the vet i couldnt help but laugh as she was filling out the paperwork where it asked for his name -- it was this tiny little box-- so allison had to write really really small to fit it all in (cause if you didn't know, chip's full name is Samson Chocolate Chips D____.).  The vet said that chip probably had mites so he gave him a shot and chippy has to go back in 10 days for a check up.  Chippy was such a sweety and was soo good.. he didnt try to bite the vet at all or anything.  i'm a very proud aunt..lol. 

I made Christmas cookies tonight - or at least i started too.  I made up the zebra cookie dough and that is chilling right now, i'll finish them up tomorrow.  and then i also made shortbread cookies tonight - they turned out pretty yummy.  saturday i am hoping to make gingerbread cookies, and then sunday the peanut butter ones and the traditional sugar cookies.  and then monday i may make pecan bars.  after that i think i'll be done baking for a little while...lol

i'm working tomorrow from opening to 3 or 4.. i'm not sure if i'm looking forward to it or not, but oh well... it shouldnt be too bad as long as i'm not too tired.  and then i am working on saturday the same time .. so that will be good i guess.. at least i'll have a decent number of hours accumulated for the week - so far i've worked about 13.. so i should have over 20 which is good- no where near as many as i was working over the summer, but still really good in comparison to how slow things have gotten

oh well.. i suppose i ought to head to bed since i've got to be up in less than 6 hrs (oh what joy - not! ..lol)

break is going pretty well i guess.. i am still soo tired though

the van broke down on sunday on the way back from seeing Narnia w/ allison.. so yeah, its dead now--i guess the transmition is broke or somethin like that.. and we arent fixing it cause its $3000 and the car has over 200 thousand miles on it and yeah- its old

so... i have been having to get up at 6-ish to take my mom to work these past few morning so allison and i would be able to get around.

I'm back working at coldstone which is fun.  i'm not decorating cakes at the moment though cause they just got a new cake lady, and then during the day dutch builds the cakes.. so yeah, i'm a little sad about being cakeless but thats ok - its still fun working the stone and stuff.. but its soo slow.. and i'm running out of things to clean when there arent any customers and there are only so many waffles that can be made

as nice as it is to have a break from school, i'm definitely starting to miss cnu.  i want to see everyone again and i want to get back into my routine and have a clean room and stuff... cause yeah, right now my room is a complete mess cause i'm too lazy to keep it clean when i dont have to live in there and worry about other people seeing all my junk..lol

i've been running on the treadmill here at home for the past few days, but the motivation to push myself to go further and run faster just isnt there like when i go to the freeman center.. and it doesnt help that i really hate running on treadmills no matter where they are located - but its just too darn cold to run outside.. plus i'm not gonna go out running by myself and i dont have a running buddy , oh well

tomorrow i have to sit in some study room at the place where allison takes a class or something cause i guess my mom has to volunteer or something and she pawned it off on me .. i dont know what i am gonna do for 4 hrs.. i dont think they would like it if i took a nap, and i guess there isnt anyway i could hook up to the internet there.. what type of study room doesnt have internet availability????.. i'm still bringing my computer though just in case.. if all else fails i suppose i could play spider solitaire for a few hours..lol .. or i could bring all the books i've gotten so far for next semester and start reading them, but i doubt i will   ---   ahhh.. i'm going to die!!! someone save me!

other than being bored from noon to 4 tomorrow, i dont have anything to do which stinks.. maybe i'll go shopping or something afterwards... anyone want to go to a movie or something tomorrow afternoon/evening??

got my final grades back -- i'm really happy w/ them.. definitely could have done a bit better in stats if i had ever bothered to study, but it was still a good grade.   gpa of 3.54 right now, so i'm happy.. and i think i should be able to do even better next semester

anyways.. guess thats about it for now.. i cant even think anymore i'm so tired
